Delete Pages Default
The pages you select are removed, so you can remove specific pages from a PDF without touching the rest. Every other page stays, in its original order.

Keep Selected Pages
With Keep the selected pages instead ticked, it works the other way round: the pages you select stay and all the others go. That saves ticking 77 pages when you only want 3 out of 80.
Ways to build your selection

Invert flips the picks
Invert turns every selected page unselected and every unselected page selected, in one click.

All and None reset it
All marks every page so you can untick a few, and None clears the board to start again.

Selection and field stay matched
Ticking Select under a page adds it to the typed field, and typing numbers ticks the matching pages, so both views always agree.

Repeats don't count twice
Typing a page number more than once, such as 3, 3, 5, still selects it only once.

Numbers past the last page are skipped
Typing 1-100 on a 12-page file selects up to page 12 only; the rest of the range is ignored.

Clearing the field starts over
Delete everything in the field and the selection empties too, the same as clicking None.
What stays in the file after removing pages
The tool never edits your PDF in place. It works out which pages survive, copies them into a new, empty PDF and hands you that file, while the original stays as it was. The surviving pages keep their size, orientation and content.
Because page content isn't touched, numbers printed on the pages stay as they were: after removing page 3, the page that used to be page 4 still shows a 4. Bookmarks and the document's title and author details are not copied into the new file either.
The status line above the button counts the pages you selected and the pages that will remain, so you can check the outcome before clicking. After saving, the result lists the original, deleted and remaining page counts next to a preview.
How to remove pages from a PDF

Add the PDF

Mark the pages
Tick Select under a page to delete individual pages from a PDF, type numbers and ranges, or use Odd, Even and Invert for patterns.

Click the button, check the preview of the shorter PDF and save it.
When a PDF page remover helps

Blank backs of a scan
Scanning one-sided paper on both sides adds a blank page after each sheet. Even selects them all at once, so you can remove blank PDF pages in a click.

Cover and separator sheets
Take out a title page, a routing slip or the separator sheets placed between batches before the file is archived.

Outdated pages
Drop an old price list or a superseded appendix before sending the file on, so nobody quotes the wrong figures.

Remove internal notes or another client's pages from a combined document before you share it.

It stays off until at least one page is selected. It also stays off whenever your selection would remove every page, because a PDF has to keep at least one.
Usually. The new file is built from the remaining pages only, so images and fonts used only on the deleted pages are not carried over. This is a straightforward way to reduce PDF pages and shrink the file, and how much you save depends on what those pages held.
Click Odd or Even, then Delete Pages. Odd selects pages 1, 3, 5 and so on, Even selects 2, 4, 6 and the rest.
Select page 1 and tick Keep the selected pages instead. The button changes to Keep Selected Pages, and the new file holds that page alone.

A click on the picture opens the page large so you can read it before deciding. To mark the page, use the Select checkbox under it.
Correct the selection and click the button again. Each run starts from the PDF you loaded, not from the last result, so the page you removed is still there to keep.
Delete Pages hands you only the pages that remain. To save the removed pages as well, run Extract Pages on the original with the same selection.
